Smart lists aka saved filters

Is there anyway to save a filter that works across all lists?
For example, I use WF label for things I am waiting on. I would like to quickly click on this label and see everything under it, regardless of the list it is in. Right now, I can create a view per list, to filter this but no way to do this globally.

It would be nice to be able to see labels and click on them to auto filter by the label.
It would also be nice to have “smart lists” that show up like the projects where you can create saved filters to quickly drill down specifically to things you are looking for regularly.

There is! In the projects overview, on the top right ther is a button “create saved filter”. Filters created there will show up in the sidebar navigation as if they were projects.

I never even used that panel as I always use Overview or specific lists.

Thanks!

One thing I noticed, I cannot make a new task from the saved filter view.

In remember the milk, if I have a smart list with tags, I can make a task right from that screen and it would automatically add the tags.

Saved filters are read only because they allow for a lot of flexibility.

You can use quick add magic to create a task and directly associate labels to it.

It can remain read only but just have an add task field while automatically adding appropriate labels to match the current saved filter page you are on. The alternative is more clicking and just keeping an add tasks bar in each view would make sense allowing you to always add things without having to click out to somewhere else. Remember the milk does this and it is something I frequently used.
