You can change the date display format in the general settings (top right, in the menu which appears when clicking on the username) under “Localization”. Note that this format currently does not show the time - that’s a but and it should be fixed soon.

Well. I couldn’t find that. I am using the image vikunja/vikunja:0.24.6. Is it the latest stable version?
Ah, the setting is only available in 1.0 RC or unstable builds, you’d need to update to that.
