Hi,
It would be great if it was possible to create a bucket that is actually a filter.
An example of what I would do with it is create a project of Team Users, and each bucket in that project would be a filter of all jobs assigned to that user.
I would also use this to create a project of buckets where each bucket is a label i.e “in progress and paused”.
Thanks
Neil
You can do that if you set the bucket configuration of the Kanban view to “Filter”. That allows you to set a filter per bucket.
Thanks for replying and sorry for the late response as I did not get an email to notify me.
I will investigate this as it makes vikunja very powerful.
Am I correct that the filter only works on cards in that project?
For example I can not put a filtered bucket in a root project and view cards in the sub projects?
You could also create a saved filter. That will show tasks from all projects (or only the ones you want).
That worked, thanks for that.
I created a Project using New Saved Filter with assignees != “”
Then in that project I created a Kanban view with filters and was able to create a bucket for each user.
