Better ways to show Current Tasks

Right now, “Current Tasks” in the overview shows every task in every project you are in.

That means that if multiple people share the same Project, every user will see every other user’s task under “Current Tasks.” This makes it difficult to share projects.

I can see three simple ways to fix this, all of which would be valuable regardless.

  1. “Show only Tasks Assigned To Me” checkbox/filter in Current Tasks

  2. “Show only Projects I am subscribed to” checkbox/filter in Current Tasks

  3. “Do not show this project in Current Tasks unless the task is assigned to user” setting for each project.

I am aware that I can create a custom filter to see all tasks assigned to me, however these two settings will make it easier for less-proficient users to open their home page (overview) and immediately see the relevant tasks they need to complete, without seeing other tasks.

Thank you so much for this great project.

I think we should improve the creation of saved filters instead. I feel like having more options will make this appear more complicated than it really is.

Thank you, improved saved filters would be great.

However, in the case of teams assigned to a project, that will still result in every user’s “Current Tasks” being overloaded with a large number of tasks that are not assigned to that user.

Please consider any way at all to filter, clean or disable the “Current Tasks” in the main overview.

But you can filter already to include only tasks that are assigned to you?

Wow, thank you so much. I did not understand that setting to filter the overview page. Your comment helped me find it.

Hope you have a wonderful day.
