This seems like a simple questions but after scouring the docs, google and this forum I could not find a definitive, or really any, answer.
If/when I delete a user via the CLI what will happen to all the tasks they created? Will they be deleted? Can they be transferred to another user? Should I transfer them manually before I delete the user?
Really love this app so far (like A LOT) but sadly, I had to let my assistant go yesterday…
Once a user is deleted, every project where they are the only one having access is deleted. This includes every task, view, attachment and other related data.
Projects which have been created by that user and are shared with other users are not deleted - instead the ownership is transferred to another user who has access to the project.
Great, thank you. I created all the projects so it sounds like I can safely delete her user without losing anything. I’ll create a backup just in case.
