Both the task description and the comment box use the rich-text editor, and both permanently show its full toolbar — headings, bold/italic/underline/strikethrough, code, quote, lists, image, link,
table, undo/redo. That’s a lot of chrome for the comment box especially, where most of the time
you’re typing one line and hitting submit, not formatting a document.
Proposing the toolbar stay collapsed (or hidden) until the field is focused, then expand. Would
cut a good amount of visual weight from the page, particularly noticeable since the description
and comment toolbars currently render one right above the other with nothing between them.
Scope
Whatever editor component backs both Description and Comments — if it already supports a
collapsed/compact toolbar mode this might be a small config change rather than new UI work.
