Hi Konrad and all. First of all: Much <3 for Vikunja! What a great experience so far.
I got one suggestion: mark tasks as done once they got moved into a kanban column named done. And vice versa. That would be awesome! What do you think?
Go to bucket settings - set as default Done bucket

Then I got another one: how about 2 default buckets, backlog as default and done as done, and everything in between the two is up to the user to define? This would help idiots like me not miss this setting. 
You can set the default bucket as well, in the same menu where you set the done bucket.
Yes I know. Sorry for being misleading. I meant that new boards automatically get 2 pre-defined buckets. Backlog and Done, set to default and done. Of course leaving it up to the user to change these.
Currently there’s no functionality to set defaults for Kanban boards, only the leftmost bucket is the default bucket, but without any setting. Basing these on the title of the bucket is probably not a good idea, since this would complicate things further because we’d need a solution for each language.
