Permanent view of the date timeline in gantt view

I have projects with a lot of tasks, so I have to scroll the gantt view to see the latest ones, but in this case I can’t see the timeline: would it be possible to “freeze” (as in excel) the timeline, to see the dates permanently, at the top of the window?
You can see the dates when you move tasks around, but it’s not practical for getting an overview.

I’m using Vikunja Cloud.

You mean you want the timeline stuck at the top when you’re scrolling down?
