It’s would be interesting to define default dates in the gantt view.
For me i need a 10 months view from september to end of june. (i am a teacher)
But it’s always reset when we refresh the page. (In the desktop app, i don’t know if it’s the same on a browser)

Would saving the dates as you changed them work for you?
Interesting, maybe save it by project ?
Or just restore the latest change ?
Yeah then we should just save it in the browser as that’s the easiest solution here. I’ve added an item to the backlog.
It would feel sensible and natural to have the default date range as setting in the project Views settings (… > Views > Gantt > Edit).

I’m facing the same issue here. Whenever I add a task from the Gantt view, the default start and end dates are reset. I need to manually re-edit the dates or paste in the url ?dateFrom=2025-06-02&dateTo=2027-06-30
Any progress on that matter? I did not see a new feature allowing the user to choose custom defaults dates. Thx for your support!
