mDone: a native iOS and macOS app for Vikunja

Hi All - First off, thank you to the team for building and maintaining it.

I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on for a while: mDone, a native iOS and macOS app for Vikunja. It talks only to your own server over the REST API, with no middleman and no account of mine in between.

Mainly wanted to introduce it and say thanks. I’d love any feedback, and I’m happy to adjust anything that would sit better with the project. Mods, feel free to move this if there’s a better category.

would it support Authentik? (does vikunja even support authentik?

One quick caveat: there are already two other native third party ios apps that work with Vikunja, what makes yours different?

What makes mDone different? Mostly, that is very optimal for how I work and think, plus I’ve added features on top of vikunja like ‘focus sessions’ that keep a task top of mind via iso widgets, etc., that stop me getting distracted.

The other iOS apps just didn’t quite work for me, so I just built my own and then thought I should share it in case others found it helpful

Feel free to submit a feature request on GitHub, and I will consider it. Full transparency it not at the top of my to-do list today
