I’ve raised bug: project identifier uniqueness is global on shared instances -- common prefixes blocked across all users · Issue #2745 · go-vikunja/vikunja · GitHub to discuss this topic, since it seems unworkable in the long-term for every user of Vikunja Cloud to share a single namespace and need to have globally-unique (across all teams/tenancies) project prefixes … so I’m already blocked from using a number of easy ones and have to create awkward prefixes/suffixes for them: INBR instead of INBOX, PERBR instead of PER .
I figure this isn’t sustainable in the long-term, so I’m looking to garner support to namespace this - perhaps by root-team? But that might not work. There’s an overlap with other issues because whilst URLs and APIs don’t use them, tasks do display with their project prefix+index.
