I’m finding the sort function in any list, table, or board of tasks fairly useless. The most crucial sort feature– sort by project– doesn’t exist, and the main Overview screen offers no sort functionality at all, except for custom filters, which themselves can’t be sorted.
The default view in any global context (overview, custom filters, table and list views) seems to be a jumbled list of tasks belonging to disparate projects. Yes, you can click on a project to view its tasks, but it’s not possible to see ALL tasks by what project they belong to (not to mention that you cannot see subproject tasks in a parent project, rendering the hierarchy functionally irrelevant, but that is already a feature request), nor can you sort by assignee, or label. This is a fatal UI flaw contrary to purpose of project management software.
