I installed the Android app on my phone (version: 0.1.8-beta-166-g0bbb703+275)
In the Android app, when I press test notification I do get a notification. But I don’t get notifications for task due dates, end dates or reminders that I’ve set for tasks. I don’t get notifications when the app is running in the background but also not when I have the app open.
When starting the app I get the message “The application version is not compatible with the server version. Use at you own risk!”.
I set up five tasks with the same due date, but some time apart.
I only got a notification for three of the five tasks. It seems to have something to do with how recently the app was last opened.
Hopefully this can help someone debug the notification issue. Reliable notifications are pretty crucial to me personally, so I will be looking for a different Todo app.
