Vikunja needs Chrome

I’m not sure if this is a Vikunja or a Chrome problem, but currently Vikunja is the only webapp, that shows this behaviour. When opening vikunja in Chrome on Android it displays this message:

“Installieren” is a link to Chrome in the Play store. Chrome is certainly already installed. Problem is, I can’t come past the message, Vikunja doesn’t load.

Maybe uninstalling Vikunjas App would solve the problem, but I can wait some days in case you want to investigate the issue and need more info. Doesn’t matter if I click the App on Androids Desktop, or visit the website (https://todo.pnpde.social) directly. Vikunja version is v0.24.0

PS: The problem occurs only on one device so far. Another Android phone with similar configuration works flawlessly

Does it work if you remove the pwa and re-add it to the home screen?

Just removing and re-adding from the app drawer does nothing. I have refrained from re-adding it from the website, because this would likely remove the oppurtinity to debug it. Pretty sure that would work, though. If you don’t need my “broken” installation I’ll try it

Firefox/Safari user here - never seen this

In the meantime I experienced this error on other apps as well. Still no idea what’s the problem, but I’m pretty sure now that Vikunja is innocent :slight_smile:
