I have a proposal in at RFC: Split the overloaded relation_kind field into distinct relationship concerns (additive, non-breaking) to support these types of task relationships and more. I’ve not looked at the other PRs yet. I’m not dismissing the prior work. I just didn’t know they existed. It would be good to see what approach was taken by each if this gets traction.
