Users using OpenID cannot change their email

Any of my users that have signed up using OpenID (all the users except the original user) cannot change their email. Changing their email in my SSO manager (Keycloak) does nothing. Vikunja continues to send emails to the original email account. Is their a temporary way that I can mitigate this problem? Are the emails stored in the database in an easily editable format? If so how would I go about changing it? Or can I issue a command directly to Vikunja. Internet searching and documentation skimming didn’t seem to yield any fruit.

Should I report this as an issue on the GitHub?
