It is very easy to accidentally misclick on a task list or similar and check things you didn’t want to, and you end up not knowing what you’ve done so far and what not. Similarly, it would be very useful to know who was assigned a task in the past.
These things should ideally be tracked in a changelog which saves most actions executed on a task like checking a checkbox, assigning a person, changing labels and so on. This changelog should be viewable from the task view, similar to the way Trello and other solutions handle it.
