The current WYSIWYG editor is riddled with issues and annoyances. Markdown has been presented as a sensible solution to overcome interoperability and accessibility challanges and many other problems.

There is a reason why the platform your using now uses markdown (discourse).

Currently there seems to be no way to export the document - it’s just raw HTML. Markdown export would be nice.

I apologize for my harsh tone. I recognize the effort and personal sacrifice spent on this project. I feel that I’m just asking without giving back, so I will contribute to the project either financially or in another manner.
