I try to do a GTD workflow, aka create a project for a set of tasks. When finishing all of the tasks, I archive the project (to still have access to the tasks later on, in case I need them again).
The problem is that the archived projects still show up on my Tasks.org app, where I sync the tasks to (via Caldav). To me this seems like a bug. But in case it’s wanted a setting to disable the sync of archived projects would be appreciated.
I’m using the vikunja.cloud hosting solution and Sync via Tasks.org builtin caldav solution
Yeah, archived projects should not be sent out via caldav. I’ll take a look.
I’m unable to reproduce this with Tasks.org or Evolution. Does it work for you when you check it with try.vikunja.io?
Hi @kolaente ,
I finally had time to investigate this further. I could not reproduce the issue on try.vikunja.io either. While QAing more, I deleted all my tasks in my main account on vikunja.cloud, but could restore them via tasks.org (an Import option from a tasks.org backup would be a nice addition ;-))
Now the issue doesn’t occure anymore.
My guess is that it only happens on 20+ projects, each with many tasks. Or some migration in the past failed and the issue was there. That was probably the reason for me losing the tasks as well.
Anyways, you do your best and this is solved.
Love your work <3
