Release vs current github version question

Hi,

Getting to grips with Vikunja - quite like it so far.
I noticed there have not been releases for a while, is it worth compiling the latest from Github for new features or bug fixes?
Are there stability issues for that version?

Thank you!

There are quite a bit new fixes and improvements in development, but you don’t need to compile it yourself to get these: https://vikunja.io/docs/versions/

Generally, unstable builds can contain bugs (hence the name). There might be issues with the stability but it’s generally very usable. Make backups!

Thanks.
I’d rather stick to a stable release, I don’t want to put off new users with possible instabilities at this point (and potentially, inability to roll back in case of issues).
