Since v2.2.0 (currently on v2.2.2) I am receiving 2 copies of the same email notification for each task comment that another user makes in a project that I am subscribed to. If I am not subscribed to the project and only subscribe to a task, then there is no duplicate and only a single notification email is sent.
Yes, confirming it’s still an issue for me as well on v2.3.0. Another data point if it is helpful, the duplicate only seems to happen if I haven’t visited the task since the last comment/email. So for example:
Visit the task in the browser. Close the tab.
Wait for a new comment to the task
This first comment since last visit sends a duplicate email, 2 copies received
Don’t visit the task, wait for another new comment
This second comment since last visit only sends 1 copy of the email
