Since the “pre-official” release 1.0.0-rc4 is quite blocked by the critical bug “Refreshing page results in “Not Found” message · Issue #2152 · go-vikunja/vikunja” I would kindly request another official release which includes the fix.
That will happen soon-ish, but you can use the unstable build until then
